General
Classes are 90 minutes in length. Please allow for the full 90 minutes.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class. Allow enough time to sign in
and change if needed.
Come on an empty stomach. No food 2 – 3 hours before class.
Come to class sufficiently hydrated. Drink plenty of water before and after class.
Wear clothing that will not inhibit your movement and allow for maximum relaxation.
No Sweats Please.
Bring a large bath towel, yoga sticky mat and bottled water.
Come with an open mind and willingness to learn.
Mats and Towels
Everyone is required to have their own mat and towel in order to participate in
class. Sorry, no exceptions. Mats are provided during the introductory package,
but we ask that you provide your own mat once the introductory period is complete.
Forgot something?
Don’t’ worry. We have water for sale, towels to rent and mats available for
either rent or purchase.
First Class
If you are taking your first
Yoga
class, it is important to understand and know your boundaries. For example,
if you were not a runner, yet decided to run a marathon, you would not try to
run the marathon on your first try. You would train and build up to it. Look
at
Yoga
in the same way. While it’s important to do your best, it’s equally important
to recognize yoga is a process. You build at the pace that best suits you.
Don’t try to run the marathon on your first try and above all, enjoy the journey.
